JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR PLACE!
Boots n Braces used to be an old petrol station. Until Murray and his brothers (Mike and Gary) decided to convert this old run down building into what you see today! Murray is in business for himself now as his brothers have found other interests to occupy themselves with now.
Murray has put in accommodation and a toilet/shower block as the need to be a responsible host is always in demand.
He has just recently put up a feature wall at the front of the bar which seems to attract more patrons. Well done Murray!
Murray is also a workaholic, I suppose you'd call him. He extended the kitchen by half the size last year and now he's extended the back part of the bar to accommodate the bands that he has on the odd occasion. Also now with the new smoking laws nearly in place.
The view of the Tararua wind farm is a most breathtaking site from the garden bar he has in place at the rear of the bar.
